Rules and Regulations for Owners & Guests

The following rules and regulations are not to be restrictive. Rather they are designed and implemented to protect each individual’s rights to peaceful enjoyment of his home. Each owner and guest of the community has the responsibility to abide and uphold these rules and regulations.
Absolutely no fireworks
Absolutely no skateboards, razor scooters, wheelie boards, etc…
All golf carts shall be operated according to South Carolina state law, and in a safe and responsible manner at all times. Drivers of golf carts must be over the age of 16 and hold a valid driver’s license (S.C. Law).
Motorcycles are NOT allowed on premises unless owned by and permitted to homeowner.
Absolutely no house parties. Guests staying in a unit should not exceed 4 persons in a duplex, 6 persons in a two- bedroom unit, 8 persons in a three-bedroom unit, and 10 persons in a four-bedroom unit.
Barbecue grills are not allowed to be operated on balconies or under structures. Barbecue grills should be operated on concrete walkways or entry ways adjacent to wooden structures. Any propane tank stored inside structure must be equipped with safety device.
No pets allow on premise unless owned by and under the supervision of a Guest Cottage owner, co-owner.
All vehicles must be parked under the unit and not in the street as emergency vehicles must have clear access to all locations.
Absolutely no parking on the grass.
No clothing or towels, etc. shall be hung or draped on deck or steps railings. Any articles of such nature should be hung under the unit within the boundaries of the parking area.
All garbage should be secured in a plastic trash bag prior to placing in the sanitation container under the unit. No garbage should be left outside of the sanitation container.
Pool rules are posted and should be obeyed at all times. The pools are open for your enjoyment between the hours of 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Insurance requires that pool gates be closed at all time except during entry and exit. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Babies must wear training pants. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Noises at odd times are particularly annoying, and between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM must be kept to an absolute minimum. Any disruptive action will be reported to law enforcement and could result in eviction from the unit.
If you are a guest in the unit and experience maintenance problems within the unit, contact the marketing agent or owner of the unit for your stay.
In the event of an emergency or disruptive action needing assistance, dial 911 and give your street address and unit number at Guest Cottages.
These rules and regulations are enforced for your safety and security and shall be obeyed at all times. Failure to obey any portion of this regulatory listing could result in dismissal from the property.
